It's time again to collect GSHMM member dues for the following season.
If you choose to renew your membership in GSHMM, please complete and return the attached form with your check.   Dues are payable at or before our fall business meeting.

What are the benefits of GSHMM membership?

    • If you are a CHMM, you will be sent a record of your meeting attendance at the end of each year. This provides necessary documentation for CHMM recertification.
    • You become a voting member of the Gateway Society.  And we all know how much fun that can be....
    • You get a $5 discount on the cost of luncheon meetings (so if you attend five meetings, the membership pays for itself!).
    • It's a great networking opportunity.
    • Your name and address will be listed in our member directory and on the website.
    • You will have access to information on the "Members Only" section of the website, including job listings, chapter information and a current member directory.

For those of you that are CHMMs, don't forget - CHMM certification is renewed every five years. For recertification, the by-laws require that you must show 17 Certification Maintenance Points (CMPs) during a 5-year cycle. CMPs are achieved through a number of activities, including local chapter membership. Certification policy allows you to count one CMP per year for paid membership in the local chapter. However, rules require that we provide documentation of attendance at more than half of the scheduled local chapter meetings.

So - let's take this opportunity to become more involved and help make our organization better!
If possible, please provide us with a secondary email address (home or personal) so we won't lose you if you change jobs.   That's more common that you think...

Thanks for your continued participation, and we look forward to seeing you in September!
