Topic - Doe Run Plant Tour
GSHMM is pleased to announce that we have arranged for a tour at the Doe Run Smelting Plant in Boss, Missouri, as our June 12th Monthly Meeting. Mr. Steve Arnold, Doe Run General Manager, presented the Resource Recycling Facility processes at the November monthly meeting. Subsequent to Mr. Arnold's presentation, quite a few GSHMM members expressed interest in visiting and touring the Doe Run Facility. Well, now's your chance!!
The number is limited to 50 people due to the capabilities of the facility. So please respond if you are interested and we'll be certain to get you on the list. First come first serve.
GSHMM is looking to charter a bus to transport everyone. We will be leaving from a TBD location in St. Louis at 7:00 AM, and returning to that location by 5:00 that afternoon. Lunch will be provided by Doe Run.
Cost: $25 for members and $35 for non-members
